Our Board

Paul M. Cofoni

Chairman

Paul M. Cofoni is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of CACI International Inc, a multi-billion dollar professional services and information technology (IT) company.
Under Mr. Cofoni’s guidance, CACI broadened its penetration of the federal marketplace, with special emphasis on increasing CACI market share in defense, homeland security, the intelligence community, and the transformation and modernization of government. Mr. Cofoni has played a key leadership role in developing CACI’s ability to compete for large-scale contracts at the highest levels of government service. He has overseen the growth of CACI from $1.6 billion of revenue in 2005 to more than $3.8 billion at the end of 2012. His responsibilities also included managing CACI’s corporate development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) program. CACI acquired 20 companies under Mr. Cofoni’s leadership. Mr. Cofoni served on the board of CACI and its Executive Committee from November 2006 till December 2012.

James TB Nguyen

President and CEO

Prior to creating IT Unlock, James TB Nguyen was the Director of Market Development of ALCO Solution Inc. He mainly served medium and large business sectors; more specifically, banking, finance, apparel, airline industries, etc. In 2005, Mr. Nguyen founded IT Unlock Consulting Inc. His life missions are to improve the client’s current condition in information technology and to help underprivileged children.

Over the years, he contributed to increase his clients’ productivity by automating and securing call centres and developing customized software application. Mr. Nguyen loves helping destitute children; he makes his commitment to give back to the society yearly.

Mr. Nguyen is a Université du Québec à Montréal graduate with a BS in Management Information Systems. 

Bob Dimond

Financial Adviser
Bob Dimond is a senior financial executive with over 33 years of experience with large public food retail and wholesale companies, including over 20 years as CFO . His career reflects a strong track record in leading significant transformation initiatives, successful mergers and acquisitions, and identifying and delivering synergies. Bob has been a key leader in formulating and executing business strategy, determining capital allocation priorities, optimizing financial management processes, and driving significant balance sheet improvements. He also brings deep corporate governance experience from working closely with corporate boards for the last 20 years, including audit, finance and compensation committees, and is qualified to serve on audit committees as a financial expert.

Brandy B. Milazzo

M&A Legal Adviser, Member of the Board

Brandy Milazzo focuses her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, technology, supply chain and outsourcing transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, commercial business transactions, finance, loan modifications, and other general corporate work, such as corporate organization, governance, or dissolution. She has done thousands of acquisitions in her career. She has done acquisitions or exits, ranging in transaction value from $100K and $200K up to $45 billion, including private and publicly held companies
During the last few years, she has had the honour and privilege of being the recipient of numerous distinguished awards, including the 2012 NC Bar and Girl Scouts Raising the Bar Award, the Girl Scouts Thanks Badge, she was named one of the 50 Most Influential Women of 2013 by The Mecklenburg Times, is a 2013 Distinguished Rotarian by the Rotary
Club of Charlotte-Evening, a North Carolina Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine, recipient of the 2015 Charlotte Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”, 2015 and 2016 Top Super Lawyers & Best Lawyers in North Carolina, 2016 Business North Carolina Legal Elite, and is a 2016 SmartCEO BRAVA award recipient.

John Atanasio

Pre & Post acquisition adviser, Member of the Board

Mr. Atanasio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and has attend executive course in International Business Management and Strategy at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the Ashridge Business School in London. He brings over 40 years of experience from the mechanical and industrial engineering industry.
Alfa Laval is based out of Lunde, Sweden and is a global provider of specialized products and engineering solutions in the marine, energy and food industries. Beginning in 1982, Mr. Atanasio joined Alfa Laval’s Food and Dairy Group. In 1990, Mr. Atansio was advanced to Alfa Laval Separation, where he oversaw a number of positions including: Industrial Fluids Business Manager, Supply Unit Manager, Environmental Marketing Manager and the Division Manager of Industrial Separation. In 2001, Mr. Atanasio secured the position of President of the company’s USA Parts and Service Division, and then in 2004, was appointed President of the company’s equipment division. Finally, in 2011, Mr. Atanasio was appointed not only President, but also CEO of Alfa Laval in USA; He was responsible for driving the profitable growth of Alfa Laval in its markets, leveraging the company’s key technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling.

Stephen Davis

Cybersecurity Adviser (CISO), Member of the Board

Stephen is an executive leader with wide-ranging experience in the roles of Chief Information Security (CISO), Chief Privacy (CPO), Head of Accessibility, Internal and External Audit Director, as well as Practice Head of Technology Assurance Professional Services. He has spent the last 20+ years creating and implementing information security, technology and privacy programs from the ground up, overseeing technology groups, integrating security into countless software products and consumer goods, building corporate compliance programs, and providing executive oversight to data protection initiatives.
Stephen has an accomplished record in establishing and delivering comprehensive programs to manage these functions for medium and large organizations with highly complex global operations, including TD Bank, Kaplan, and Macmillan. Stephen currently serves on several Task Force’s, working groups and committees on information security and related forums. He is an active contributor in the network and security operations and research communities and has contributed to several books, numerous industry standards, network and security research papers, and other publications.
Stephen is also an active writer, speaker, and enjoys spending his time educating individuals on the importance of information security and privacy.

Richard Arenaro Jr

Richard Arenaro is a Senior Technology Executive with a progressive career spanning 25+ years across a broad range of technology, security and business disciplines.

Known as a trusted advisor to business leaders, his core belief is that it’s not enough to merely partner with the key stakeholders, but rather technology and security leaders must become an intricate part of the growth strategy; proactively solutions which enable execution of the business strategy, drive growth and lift revenues.
With a focus on attracting, mentoring and nurturing dynamic talent and building award winning teams, Richard has led numerous transformative technology initiatives, managed, co-led and participated substantial technology company acquisitions, built world class security operations centers and created commercial platforms that have been prominently featured in Forbes, the New York Times and Gartner Research and other industry case-studies.
